The Saddle Lake Health Care Centre is funded by First Nations and Inuit Health (FNIH). As of April 1, 2015 the Health Centre entered into a five-year flexible Contribution Agreement (CA) until March 31, 2020. The Health Administration is responsible for carry out objectives of the Five-Year Health Agreement. All program managers/co-ordinators and staff must prepare a work plan on an annual basis and submit monthly reports to the Health Administration and a yearly CBRT report to Health Canada. The health administration consists of the following staff, programs and services. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


 Providing excellent Health Care for the Saddle Lake Community and surrounding areas.  The following services and provided with professional care, we take pride in all services provided, along with our friendly staff.  

  • Medical Clinic 
  • Pharmacy    – Open Monday -Friday (9 am – 5 pm) Closed Statutory Holidays
  • Public Health  –  Nurses & Community Health Representatives
  • Home Care    – Occupational Therapist, Home Care Nurses & Personal Support Aid’s
  • Assisted Living Home Support  – Homemaker and Handyman services for Elderly & Disabled
  • Dental Care   – Sub-Office of Dr. Deb Crowfoot (Open 2 days per week)
  • Ambulance   – On-site service (24 hrs per day, 7 days per week)
  • Eagle’s Healing Lodge – NNADAP, Building Healthy Communities, Brighter Futures Initiative, Community Wellness, and Suicide Prevention Programs
  • Jordan’s Principle – Child Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapists
  • Parent & Child Outreach Program (PCOP)

 


The Saddle Lake Health Centre is located on the Saddle Lake Cree Nation approximately 164 KM North East of Edmonton, AB.  Housed in a beautiful medical clinic setting.  There is a total of 72 staff on hand as all times through out all other Health Departments.  If you happen to be in the area please stop in, have a coffee and check out our facility, the staff would be happy to help you out.
